These iodine–based (no chlorine) water purification tablets have been trusted by militaries, relief organizations and outdoor enthusiasts since 1971 for making water of questionable quality suitable to drink. Uniform dosage takes the guesswork out of the process: two tablets treat one quart of water. These water purification tablets are a must for any First Aid or Disaster Preparedness Kit, and is ideal for emergency use at home. Cautions: (1) Individuals with thyroid problems or pregnant/nursing women should consult their physician before use. (2) Does not kill Cryptosporidium. Amount: 50 tablets – enough to treat 25 quarts of questionable water!
